Counselling and psychotherapy involves a confidential therapeutic relationship in which you express yourself - thoughts, feelings, sensations, phantacies, intuitions, behaviour and more. The therapeutic relationship is the vehicle to healing.
Psychosynthesis counselling has its roots in psychoanalytic and humanistic psychotherapy.
It is a transpersonal model - seeing us as spiritual and soulful, meaning that we all have an inner calling, a true essence, and a unique meaning and purpose on our life journey. Psychosynthesis is open and inclusive, and doesn't necessarily, as in the medical model, view a person as having a mental illness. Instead symptoms are seen as signals, to what you need to deal with in your life.
Psychosynthesis therapy is always tailored to your individual needs, and can be short-term or long-term, depending on your situation.
Counselling is a way to resolve emotional pain, help get unstuck from difficult patterns, process losses, trauma, life crises and transitions. It can help you in your private and professional spheres, and grow self-awareness and insight - so you feel better in yourself and in your relationships.
